Generally, go cart bodies are setup for go carts look good and have a surface to stick cool stickers on. Apart form making the look good, bodies of specific metrics may be mandatory in certain racing classes, especially when it comes to the front nose. The front nose, apart form being a good place for stickers, can be beneficial when it comes to feet security. The cart’s front nose is also a good shock absorber, meaning that if you crash straight head on with something, you can count on this piece of the body to minimize injury. Balance aerodynamics with looks to get a nose that won’t let you down in competition.

The side panels are the parts of the body that go between the wheels on each side. These are mounted on nerf bars, which are relatively soft metal rods that extend from wheel to wheel to allow the cart maximum flexing when taking a curve. Apart form the nose and side panels, another part of the body would be the front and rear bumpers. These consist of bent metal bars that protect the frame in case of suffering some sort of impact. Depending on the race class you choose to join, the bumpers’ metrics may be regulated. The rear bumper is where you can usually place your number for proper identification.
