Three top performing racing gokart frames and their features |
||
|
:: racing gokart frames :: Let’s take a close look into the main characteristics of three fairly common racing gokart frames. Unlike an off road kart frame, a frame for go kart racing usually doesn’t include a roll-cage, is light weight and optimized for maximum speed gains. Tony Kart manufactures various racing frames using a standard blueprint, but specifically tailoring some characteristics for each of their models. Their standard gokart racing frames are mainly made from magnesium components for maximum durability. They also show off adjustable rear and front chassis height, a double hydraulic brake system and axles of 30mm, 40mm or 50mm. Some of their race frame models include: the Venox 100, the Krypton 100 and their racer 100. Barstool racer frames are a low cost option when considering a lightweight racing chassis. Their new 2005 Streamline Frame comes with spindle carriers, 1” or 1 ¼” bearing hangers, stool mounts and a 12X5 motor mount that accepts engines up to 6.5 HP such as Briggs, Tecumseh or Honda.
