Get the ignition from the comfort of your seat with a small engine starter kit

So, you need a small engine starter kit to make your vehicle start without the need of pushing it to get the engine into action. Some extreme karting fanatics have resolved to create strange downward sloping ramps to start the small engine, but we all know that there are better solutions than this. An engine starter kit will allow small engines to start like a regular engine, by flipping a switch of some kind. Although there are many types of start kits, they’re all conformed by more or less the same components. These usually consist of an ignition switch, a neutral safety switch, a starter relay, a starter motor and a battery. When purchasing or assembling a kit of your own, these are the essential parts you would need.

The starter motor is the most important part of the starting system. Since small engines don’t come with these, it’s necessary to find one that correctly fits your engine. This motor connects to the engine and makes it turn so that a vacuum is created in the cylinder and the oil and gas mix from the carburetor is sucked in. The spark plug then ignites causing an explosion in the combustion chamber, thus powering up the engine. When the engine produces more revs per minute than the starter motor it takes complete charge of power and the motor is disengaged.
